The Exterior Record Breakers

In 2021, we saw a revival of exterior trends, from farmhouse construction to white walls with black trim to the moody grays and earth tones reminiscent of an earlier period here in Los Angeles where homes blend into the exterior landscaping and communities, reminiscent of The Arts and Crafts Movement.

What’s coming in 2022? We’re seeing a return to traditionalism, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and classic details. Exteriors will be more complicated, with multiple textures and colors, and there will be a greater focus on the landscaping around the home. We’re not sure what’s next for exteriors in 2023, but we’re looking forward to seeing more innovative and unique designs that reflect the personality of the homeowners.

The Interior Record Breakers

With an interior renovation, it’s important to have the new buyer have a blank canvas by depersonalizing the home. A new home buyer has to see the strengths of your home and what they might create in the future. Obviously, our personal taste isn’t everyone’s taste. It’s about putting our clients’ money where it will yield the most profit based on market demand and industry trends.

Every once in a while, the ordinary can become extraordinary. Our renovation in Monterey Hills exceeded all expectations, delivering another record-breaking sale for our clients and earning us the reputation as the brokerage willing to go to any lengths to win for our clients. We pushed through years of collected items and even graffiti on the walls to freshly paint, re-purpose and renovate this condominium to maximize our client’s investment!
