So, how will eventgoers “Illuminate the Night?” That’s entirely up to you! You can carry a small camping lantern or cover your entire body in glow sticks. As long as it’s glowing, it’s good! Ok, maybe that’s not entirely true. There are a few sources of light that are not allowed. *NO* open flames.
Eventgoers should only use solar or battery-powered lighting. Additionally, it’s good to note that parking space will be extremely limited, so the organizers recommend you use a rideshare service, ride your bike, or walk.
So, what’s the event schedule? The event will be on April 9, 2022, from 6-9 pm at the Taylor Yard Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. Come celebrate the opening of this newly-built pedestrian and bicycle bridge that connects Elysian Valley with Cypress Park across the Los Angeles River. The bridge is part of the city’s effort to make Elysian Valley more accessible and to promote healthy, active lifestyles.
